Adds a bit of spice to any meat, fish, poultry, vegetable, or pasta dish. Makes an excellent blackening seasoning! Warning: Highly addictive when made as a dip! (Shown with sweet potato fries. Yummy!) All-time best seller! (6-7 out of 10 on a heat scale).
Rub: Pat pork butt dry with paper towel. Season directly or apply a small amount of olive oil before coating generously with the dry rub (Very spicy! Add to taste). Refrigerate seasoned meat for up to 12 hours before cooking. Coats up to 6 lbs.
Dip: Blend the mix with 8 oz. (1 cup) of mayonnaise and 8 oz. of sour cream. You can also try using 16 oz. of sour cream, plain yogurt, or hummus. For my personal preference, I love using 4 oz. (1/2 cup) of mayonnaise and 12 oz. (1 1/2 cups) of sour cream.
Spread: Combine the mix with an 8 oz block of cream cheese and 1/4 cup of milk. Savor it warm (microwave for 2 minutes) or chilled, whichever suits your taste.
