Our newest beer bread mix is so easy to make! Simply add a 12 oz. can of beer to the mix and stir until blended. It bakes into a dense, rich, flavorful bread that is the perfect accompaniment to our savory dips and olive oil blends.
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine package with one 12 oz. can of beer (room temperature) and stir until blended. Pour batter into a well-greased bread pan (9x5x4 in). Bake 45-50 minutes or until bread begins to pull away from sides. Optional: melt 2 Tbsp. butter and pour over the bread batter during the last 5-10 minutes of baking.
Drop biscuits: Substitute 12 oz. of buttermilk. Drop onto baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Brush with butter.
Note: You can substitute ginger ale, club soda, or lemon-lime soda for the beer. (Bread will be slightly sweeter.)
